Bees 4/11 Update
Posted on Apr 10th, 2018
4/11/2018 - The bee swarm has been removed. There will be a few dozen bees flying around today until they decide to go back to the main colony. The bee guy did not see the main colony so this will happen again.
Please lookout for the main colony. It could be in a tree or under a gable. When the temperature gets about 85 degrees you will see more bees flying around the colony. To report the colony location please notify security at 408-595-4493 and email board@compassplace.org and management@compassplace.org .

4/10/2018 6:18 pm - Bee Free is scheduled to arrive tomorrow Wednesday at 6:30 am.
4/10/2018 - I have contacted Bee Free and they will be coming sometime late this afternoon. I will be here to direct them.
4/9/2018 - I have confirmed a report tonight that a group of bees are near the gazebo again. I have left a message with the bee removal company. I will try to get them removed properly as soon as they are able to come. Hopefully tomorrow.
The bee company said when they swarm like this it is due to migration from a main hive. The bee company needs to find that hive or they will keep returning.
Bees in Northern California are docile and will not usually attack unless directly threatened. If they were Africanized bees there would likely have been immediate attacks.
Also when poisoned bees are left on the ground young children could eat them.
